Where’s Your Wonder?

If you could go back to you as a little child and do what you loved: What would you be doing?

Maybe the bigger question is: What did you dream?

Every artist has held on, in some form, to being a child.

To this day, I love getting lost in that creative flow - in The Zone.

Thinking back to my childhood, I have vivid memories of sitting for hours at my desk in my room, creating an ice skating scene out of household items. Everything from poster board, to aluminum foil for a frozen pond, to a toilet paper roll for a log. I had so much energy and fun looking for the next item to add to my scene.

What about you? Did you love to play with LEGO bricks and find yourself constructing and engineering things? Did you get lost twirling and moving your body feeling the freedom with each step?

In my adult life, different jobs have ebbed and flowed. And yet, there is that childlike thread that runs through all of it - the desire to create, get lost in The Zone, and make beautiful things. It’s very much a part of what I love to do today and am doing now with Mosaic People.

Where’s your wonder?
